Our daughters McKenzie 12, and Sadie three, are very close. McKenzie acts like the mother hen, and Sadie's eyes light up when McKenzie is around. Last night McKenzie and Sadie are in the side yard walking the puppy and Sadie noticed the moon was a crescent. Sadie looks at McKenzie, with big tears, and a pouty lip she says "The sun broke Enzie...Look the sun broke. Oh no the sun is broke!" Of course McKenzie thought it was the cutest thing she ever heard Sadie say. Fitting for the occasion, McKenzie pulls out the all time house hold favorite book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown to read for bedtime.
